Ms. Wren received her B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Arkansas. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law. Ms. Wren practiced law in Little Rock, Arkansas mainly in the area of Employment Defense Litigation. She now practices law on a select basis in the fields of Civil Rights and Employment Law and as a Consultant in Employment Law Cases. Ms. Wren also conducts seminars for Louisiana Businesses on such topics as "Sexual Harassment," "The Americans with Disabilities Act," and "Employment Policies and Procedures." Ms. Wren was admitted to the bar in Arkansas and is entitled to practice law in Arkansas and in the Federal Courts.
Ms. Wren teaches, conducts research, publishes and gives presentations in the areas of employment and labor law. Her works have appeared in the Arkansas Law Journal, Business Horizons, Labor Law Journal and an "As Case Studies and Comments" in several management textbooks.
Professor Wren’s recent publications and presentations include “Employees Rights to a Representative in an Employment Interrogation," at the Southern Academy of Legal Studies in Business in 2001; “Attention Deficit Disorder,” presented to the Southern Academy of Legal Studies in Business in 1998, and “Pregnancy Discrimination in the Workplace,” presented to the Southern Academy of Legal Studies in Business in 1997.
Ms. Wren's teaching interests include labor and employment law, legal environment of business issues, uniform commercial code, and personal law issues.
