Henry named Louisiana's Newcomer of the Year
RUSTON, La. - LSU Shreveport's Sharde Henry was named Louisiana's Newcomer of the Year by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association as well as named to the Second Team. Henry was also chosen as the Red River Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year. She averaged 14.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game and recorded seven double doubles on the season. Henry was named an NAIA honorable mention All-American and the RRAC Newcomer of the Year.

Henry selected as NAIA All-American
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2012 Division I Women's Basketball All-America teams. Players were selected by the All-America committee as LSU Shreveport's Sharde Henry was selected to the honorable mention team.

Two Lady Pilots earn Scholar Athlete honor
FRANKFORT, Ky. - The NAIA has announced that 127 Division I Women's Basketball student-athletes have been named 2012 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Amanda Fontenot and Amelia Broussard represents LSU Shreveport on the list of distinguished athletes.

Lady Pilots fall in the first round of the NAIA National Tournament
FRANKFORT, Ky. - Brittany Roberts recorded 22 points and a career-high 12 assists, while Kelsey Canavan posted her 11th double-double of the season to lead Lubbock Christian past LSU Shreveport, 79-55, in first round action at the 2012 NAIA Division I Women's Basketball National Championship presented by Kentuckytourism.com on Thursday afternoon.

Lady Pilots to face Lubbock Christian in NAIA National Tourney
SHREVEPORT, La. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has officially released the bracket for the 32nd Annual Division I Women's Basketball National Championship presented by Kentuckytourism.com. The LSU Shreveport Lady Pilots women's basketball team will make their third appearance in the big dance and will play on Thursday, March 15, at 2:15 p.m. EST against Lubbock Christian University.

Three Lady Pilots selected to All-RRAC teams, Howell named Coach of the Year
WACO, Texas - LSU Shreveport women's basketball head coach Ronnie Howell was voted on by the coaches of the RRAC as the Red River Athletic Conference Coach of the Year while Sharde Henry was named as the conference's Newcomer of the Year.

Lady Pilot's comeback falls short, OLLU claims title
WAXAHACHIE, Tex. - The LSU Shreveport Lady Pilots basketball team rallied in the second half but fell short as the Our Lady of the Lake University Lady Saints claimed the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament title with a 76-73 win over LSUS at the Schaeffer Center on the campus of Our Lady of the Lake University.

Lady Pilots move on to RRAC Finals
WAXAHACHIE, Tex. - The LSU Shreveport Lady Pilots advanced to the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament Championship Game as they defeated the Texas Wesleyan Lady Rams 67-54 on Saturday afternoon at the Schaefer Center on the campus of Southwestern Assemblies of God University. The title game will be on Monday at 5 p.m. against the winner of the Our Lady of the Lake and Langston.

Lady Pilots advance to semis with crushing win over Texas College
WAXAHACHIE, Tex. - Jenna Diakos nailed the first bucket of the game and the LSU Shreveport Lady Pilots never looked back as they ended the season of the Texas College Steers with an 86-60 win in the first round of the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament at the Schaefer Center on the campus of Southwestern Assemblies of God University.
