Weather Alters LSUS Baseball Schedule Again

SHREVEPORT, La. - For the second time this season the weather will play a part in LSU Shreveport altering their baseball schedule. This weekend's series with the Wiley College Wildcats will consist of the double header now being played on Friday, Feb. 17, beginning at 4:00. The first game will be a seven inning game followed by a nine inning game. Saturday's, Feb. 18, schedule has a single game schedule with the first pitch to be thrown at 1:00.There is a 70% chance of rain in the forecast for Saturday but Pilot Field has already proven that it can handle a game following a heavy rain as the Pilots played a three-game series to start the year after inches of rain pounded the playing surface just 8 hours before the first pitch.
