SUNO forfeits Thursday night's Quarter Final match up against Pilots

Shreveport, LA--- The LSUS Athletics Department and Athletic Director Doug Robinson have unfortunately announced that due to unforeseen circumstances, the Southern University of New Orleans Knights have decided to forfeit Thursday night’s scheduled Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Quarter Final match up against LSUS.

The forfeit will automatically advance the Pilots to the semi-finals of the GCAC Tournament where they will meet the winner of tonight’s Xavier University and Spring Hill College match up.

In the event of XU winning, the Pilots would be forced to travel to New Orleans Saturday to take on the No. 2 seeded XU Gold Rush. However, if the SHC Badgers were to defeat the Gold Rush Thursday night, SHC and LSUS would square off Saturday night at 7:00pm at The Dock.
