Seven Men's Soccer Players named to Chancellor's/Dean's List

SHREVEPORT, La. - Nick Flowers, Brian McKay and Luke Nicholls received top honors for the efforts in the classroom for the Fall semester of 2011 as they were named to the Chancellor's List, three of 11 total athletes that were named to the list. Student Assistant Coach Samuel Portales led the players on the Dean's list as he was joined by Ruben Mendoza, Nate Gurinsky, and former player Marcos Carrillo.Students on the Chancellor's List have a semester GPA of 3.8 to 4.0. Students on the Deans' List have a semester GPA of 3.5 to 3.79.
"I am very proud of all my soccer players who made a 3.5 or higher. It's nice to see them succeed in the class room. All of these players deserve this great recognition," said LSUS Head Soccer Coach Mike Aguilar.
