January 10, 2004
The LSUS Lady Pilots traveled to New Orleans Saturday to face their conference rival Loyola Woolfpack. Loyola proved to be too much for LSUS right out of the gates as they started the game by building a 14 point lead in the first five minutes. The Lady Pilots managed to cut the Woolfpack lead which grew to as many as 24 in the second half to 8 points, but could not ever recover from the early deficit.

Renalda Stafford continued her strong play for the Lady Pilots, fininshing the game with 21 points, 5 rebounds, and three assists. Teammate Saige Cooper finished with 12 points. It was Marjorie Bilinski who led the way for the Wolfpack with her 17 points and 15 rebounds. Kiely Schork shot 5 for 10 from behind the three-point line and finished with 17 points.

LSUS falls to 0-3 in Gulf Conference Athletic Conference play and 4-9 on the season. The Lady Pilots will face Dilliard University Monday night looking for their first GCAC win.
