March 26, 2008

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics is proud to announce the 2007-08 Division I Men’s Basketball All-America Teams. The selections are made by the NAIA Men’s Basketball Coaches’ Association All-America Committee and comprises a First, Second, Third and Honorable Mention Team.

Louisiana State University in Shreveport placed two players on the All-American Teams, as Josh Porter was named to the First Team and Jamon Morris picked up Third-Team honors.  Porter, the 2007-08 GCAC Player of the Year, led the Pilots in scoring this season at 21.9 PPG.  Morris led the NAIA in double-doubles with 25, while finishing the season averaging 14.5 PPG and 11 RPG.
