Pilots to Play Springhill in First Round

The No. 21 LSUS Pilots (41-14 (26-10)) will play the host team of the 2008 GCAC Conference Tournament, the Springhill Badgers (18-35 (11-25)). The game is set for Wednesday night at 7PM at Stan Galle Field in Mobile,AL.

The Pilots have clinched a spot in the Regional XIII Tournament in Cleveland, TN with their second place finish in the GCAC.
The Pilots have clinched the No. 6 seed for the regional and can be moved up to the No. 4 seed by winning the conference tournament in Mobile.
If the Pilots go to the regional as the No. 4 seed, they will play the No.3 seed AUM Senators (41-19 (20-7)).
If they are the No. 6 seed then the first round matchup would be with the No. 1 seed Lee Flames (52-7 (24-2)).
