Pilots to host HTU

SHREVEPORT, La. - The LSU Shreveport men's soccer team will host the Huston-Tillotson Rams in the Quarter Finals of the 2012 Red River Athletic Conference Tournament on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. at The Swamp. The winner will advance to the Semi Finals on November 9th hosted by Texas Wesleyan in Fort Worth.
LSUS (12-5-1) will bring the best team they have ever had into the tournament capping off the regular season with a 2-1 win over Northwood last Saturday. The Pilots have won five of their last six games.
HTU (8-3-4) is the defending regular season and tournament champion from a year ago. The Pilots and Rams tied 1-1 after double overtime failed to produce a winner as the two teams met in the first RRAC game on September 20th. The Rams have won three of their last four games in which two of their last three contests have ended in overtime.
