Pilots fall to Martin Methodist

JACKSON, Miss. - The LSU Shreveport men's soccer team dropped their fourth game of the season on Friday afternoon at the Belhaven University soccer field 2-0 to Martin Methodist College Red hawks.The Red hawks outshot the Pilots 22-5 with nine of their shots finding its way on goal while the Pilots never got one on goal.
The match remained scoreless until MMC (2-1) got two quick goals less than a minute apart late in the second half to seal the deal: Benji Ciosanski (71:55) and Daniel Dunleavy (72:23). Ciosanski led all shooters with six total shots and three on goal while the Pilots' (1-4) five shots were divided among five different players.
The next match for the Pilots will open up Red River Athletic Conference play at home on Thursday, September 22nd, against the Rams of Huston-Tillotson University at 5 p.m.
