Pilots drop crucial game to Bacone

MUSKOGEE, Okla. - The LSU Shreveport Pilots soccer team did not help their chances on Sunday with a 2-0 loss to the Bacone College Warriors at Bacone Soccer Field in Red River Athletic Conference play. Mathematically the Pilots still have a shot at the post season tournament but will need some help from the outside if they are able to win their final three games.Bacone (4-9-1, 1-6-1 RRAC) took the lead twenty minutes into the contest with a goal from Jordan Houseman. The Warriors scored the final goal of the day during the 52nd minute as Tobi Oganla netted the goal.
LSUS (5-8, 4-4 RRAC) had plaenty of chances to score but could not find the back of the net.
Bacone outshot the Pilots 12-8 with seven on frame while the Pilots had four shots on goal.
The next game for the Pilots will be on Thursday, Oct. 20th, at UT-Brownsville at 7 p.m.
