Pilots Crush SWAGU

Forth Worth, Texas - The LSUS Pilots ran their win streak to 10 games with a 96-67 victory over Southwest Assemblies of God University Friday night.
LSUS dominated from start to finish, leading by as many as 20 points in the first half and by 12 points (45-33) at the break.
The Pilots starting lineup consisted of two freshmen, two juniors, and sophomore Jay Lincoln, the first start of his career.
Lincoln made the most of his opportunity by scoring eight points and pulling down 4 rebounds in just six minutes of action in the first half. Lincoln finished the game with career highs in both points (10) and rebounds (5).
LSUS picked up in the second half where they left off in the first, forcing several Lion turnovers and turning them into easy baskets. The Pilots scored 14 points off turnovers and had 24 fast break points in the contest.
The Pilots also owned the boards tonight, outrebounding the Lions 53-35 on the night, while pulling down 17 offensive rebounds.
Senior Jamon Morris finished with a game-high 20 points and 11 rebounds. Morris' double-double was his ninth in just ten games this season.
Josh Porter and J'Quincy Jones rounded out the Pilots double-figure scorers with 16 and 11 points respectively.
LSUS had 13 players log minutes in tonight's contest, and all 13 players made at least one field goal in the game.
The Pilots (10-0) will return to action on Saturday night, as they play tournament host Texas Wesleyan at 7:30 PM.
