Pilots climb back into Top 25

Shreveport, LA---The LSUS Pilots have won nine of their last ten games, including two wins over the previously No.11 Belhaven College Blazers this past weekend to improve to 18-8 on the season. In the latest NAIA polls that were released Wednesday afternoon, the Pilots were ranked No. 14. Coming in at No. 12 was the Houston Baptist University Huskies at 19-8. The Pilots took two games from the Huskies on the road Tuesday afternoon which will be included in the results for next weeks rankings that could see the Pilots crack the Top 10 with a good showing this upcoming weekend against the University of Mobile Rams. The Pilots and Rams will square off in a three game series beginning Friday night at Pilot Field. First pitch is slated for 6:30pm.
