Brent Lavallee was named to the 10th annual all-Canadian team for his success during the 2009 season for the LSUS Pilots. Lavallee finished as the runner-up for the CanadianBaseballNetwork.com player of the year and was named to the First Team All-Canadian Baseball Team.
Lavallee made everyone aware of the pop in his bat early last season as he hit five homeruns and drove in 12 in the first two games of the year in a double header at the University of Mobile. He had four multi-homer games during the year.
Lavallee finished the 2009 season with a batting average of .335 in 200 at bats. He scored 50 runs, walked 41 times and had an on base percentage of .459.
Lavallee finished second on the team in homeruns with 18. He was also second on the team in runs batted in as he finished the year with 78.
