Musgraves adds more accolades after 2012 season

SHREVEPORT, La. - LSU Shreveport's Head Baseball Coach Rocke Musgraves added three Coach of the Year Awards to his resume' following a remarkable 2012 season as he led his Pilots to an impressive 54 wins and only six losses in which five of those losses were by one run. Musgraves was named the Diamond Coach of the Year, ABCA Regional Coach of the Year and Red River Athletic Conference Coach of the Year.
Musgraves claimed his 500th win of his career at LSUS earlier in the dream season that was highlighted by a third place finish in the schools third trip to the Avista-NAIA World Series in 2012 bringing his overall record to 544-258. The Pilots won their second straight RRAC regular season and tournament championship.
The Pilots finished 3rd at the 2003 series in their first ever appearance and finished 4th in 2011.
