Moy claims share of RRAC POW honors

WACO, Tex. - Shawn Moy of LSU Shreveport was selected as Red River Athletic Conference Baseball Co-Player of the Week for April 4-10.
Moy, a senior infielder from Des Plaines, Ill., scored 11 runs and drove in six in a 5-0 week for the Pilots. Moy had a solo home run in a 9-7 win over LSU Alexandria then walked three times in the second game as LSUS completed a double-header sweep. In a three-game series with Jarvis Christian College (Texas), he drove in two runs in the second game. Moy closed it out by going 3-for-4 with five runs scored, a home run and three RBIs. He had five walks, three stolen bases and two doubles on the week. The Pilots moved to 23-1 at the top of the RRAC standings with a record of 35-10 overall.
