Men's Soccer announces open tryout date
SHREVEPORT, La. - The LSU Shreveport men's soccer team will hold an open try out on Saturday, February 25, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the practice field on the campus of LSUS. Then those who receive an invitation will be asked to stay from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for further evaluation.

Seven Men's Soccer Players named to Chancellor's/Dean's List
SHREVEPORT, La. - Nick Flowers, Brian McKay and Luke Nicholls received top honors for the efforts in the classroom for the Fall semester of 2011 as they were named to the Chancellor's List, three of 11 total athletes that were named to the list. Student Assistant Coach Samuel Portales led the players on the Dean's list as he was joined by Ruben Mendoza, Nate Gurinsky, and former player Marcos Carrillo.

LSUS Men's Soccer's Carrillo Receives Degree
SHREVEPORT, La. - Marcos Carrillo earned his degree from LSU Shreveport on Sunday afternoon after two seasons with the men's soccer team. A total of seven LSUS athletes were recognized at the fall commencement services at the CenturyLink Center in Bossier City on Sunday afternoon.

SAN ANTONIO, Tex. - The LSU Shreveport Pilots soccer team was defeated by the Our Lady Of the Lake University Saints 3-1 on Saturday afternoon. The loss ends any hopes of the Pilots chances of making the RRAC Tournament.

Pilots drop crucial game to Bacone
MUSKOGEE, Okla. - The LSU Shreveport Pilots soccer team did not help their chances on Sunday with a 2-0 loss to the Bacone College Warriors at Bacone Soccer Field in Red River Athletic Conference play. Mathematically the Pilots still have a shot at the post season tournament but will need some help from the outside if they are able to win their final three games.

Pilots squeak by Texas College
TYLER, Tex. - The LSU Shreveport Pilots soccer team won a 2-1 nail-bitter over the Texas College Steers on Thursday afternoon in Red River Athletic Conference play. LSUS' keeper, Lance Quini, made a diving save with one minute to play to keep the Pilots on top and eventually give his team the win.

LSUS/Bacone soccer matches moved to Sunday
MUSKOGEE, Okla. - The men's and women's soccer matches for Saturday, October 15th, have been moved to Sunday, October 16th, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, due to the fact of a scheduling conflict with the City of Muskogee for use of the Indian Bowl.
