Blankenship, Davis take LABC top honors
BATON ROUGE, La. - The Louisiana Association of Basketball Coaches selected LSU Shreveport's Kyle Blankenship as their choice as the 2013 Louisiana Small College Coach of the Year Award while also naming LSUS' Brandon Davis as the 2013 Louisiana Small College Player of the Year the LABC announced on Tuesday. These awards are selected annually by the men's basketball coaches in the State of Louisiana. Blankenship and Davis led the Pilots to their first ever appearance in the NAIA's Fab Four in Kansas City, Missouri.

UPDATE: Men's Basketball to Host 2013 Prospect Camp
SHREVEPORT, La. - The LSU Shreveport Men's Basketball team will conduct its annual Prospect Camp on Saturday, JUNE 1st at "The Dock" on the LSUS campus. The camp will begin at 1:00 p.m. with registration starting at 12:30 p.m. The event will allow all campers to showcase their abilities through a college-style workout, while also giving them to opportunity to be evaluated by the LSUS men's basketball coaching staff during live-scrimmage action. Area college coaches will also be invited to attend the camp in order to provide each camper with additional exposure. The camp is open to all current high school juniors and seniors. College students with two or more years of eligibility remaining may also attend.

Davis, Milum named to LSWA All-Louisiana Team
Brandon Davis and Rodney Milum have added another award to their resume following the 2012-2013 season in which they led the LSU Shreveport Pilots to the school's first-ever Fab Four appearance at the Buffalo Funds-NAIA National Tournament in Kansas City. Davis was selected to the Second Team while Milum was named to the Third Team.

Blankenship's Head Coaching Career off to a Great Start
Kyle Blankenship, LSUS Head Men's Basketball Coach, has been named a finalist for NAIA National Coach of the Year. In his first season as a head coach, Blankenship led the Pilots to an overall record of 27 - 7, with the team qualifying for the NAIA National Tournament for the ninth consecutive season.
