Men's Basketball: Pilots drop exhibition to MSU
November 10, 2012
WEATHERFORD, Okla. - The LSU Shreveport Pilots men's basketball team had their hand's full in Friday's exhibition game against Midwestern State University as the Mustangs came away with a 94-65 victory over the Pilots. The win counts for MSU but the loss does not go against the Pilots season record.
The Pilots managed only two scorers to reach double figures with Rodney Milum leading all scorers with 26 points on a night where LSUS shot just 30 percent from the field, 25 percent from downtown and 63 percent from the free-throw line. Aaron Jones sank 10 points for the Pilots. The leading rebounder for the Pilots was Isaac Reid as he pulled down seven boards.
The Mustangs' fast and furious offense had four scorers reach double figures and their clean-the-glass rebounding gather 44 total rebounds compared to the Pilots 29.
The Pilots will play another Exhibition Game tomorrow at 3 p.m. against West Texas A&M University in Weatherford.
