Men's Basketball: Davis claims 4th Player of the Week Award

WACO, Texas -- Brandon Davis of LSU Shreveport was named the Red River Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the fourth time this season, this time for the dates of Feb. 4-10. This is the 13th weekly award of the season.
Davis, a junior forward from Pomona, Calif., achieved a triple-double in one of LSUS' two victories on the week. He recorded 28 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists to surpass Texas College, 105-97. He followed with a 22-points, 16 rebound performance to sink Huston-Tillotson University (Texas), 97-77. For the week, Davis connected on 18-of-40 shots from the field and also collected four steals. The 21st-ranked Pilots have won seven games in a row and now sit at 13-3 in conference play and 18-4 on the season.
