LSUS WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO MCNEESE STATE

Lake Charles, LA-The LSUS women’s soccer team (5-2-1) suffered their second loss of the season at the hands of McNeese State University (4-5-2) on Sunday afternoon by a final score of 4-0 at Cowgirl Field.
McNeese State dominated the contest with a total of 24 shots to the Lady Pilots 3. Caitlin Smith and Ashley Pope took the only shots of the game for LSUS.
Lindsay Zwahr had two goals for the Cowgirls, while Alana Clark and Rebekah DeJonghe scored the other two goals.
The next game for the Lady Pilots will be on Saturday, October 3rd, at The Swamp at 3 p.m. versus the Louisiana Lady Wildcats. The Lady Wildcats are currently 1-9 on the season with one contest scheduled before the date with LSUS.
