The LSUS women’s soccer team won their second and final preseason game 4-0 at Lon Morris College in Jacksonville, Texas.

Junior, Martina Dosen (Oakville, Ontario), scored the first goal 3:20 into the game. The goal came after Caitlin Smith, a junior from San Antonio, Texas, put the corner kick in front of the goal and Dosen finished the play to give the Lady Pilots a 1-0 lead.

The Lady Pilots had a 1-0 lead at the half with 9 total shots on goal. Freshman, Abbi Dacosta (Cibolo, Texas), played the first 19:30 of the first half as goal keeper and had three saves. Shay Wells, a sophomore from Hammond, Louisiana, played the remainder of the half and had one save.

Dosen also scored the second goal for the Lady Pilots 3:13 into the game to extend the LSUS’ lead to 2-0.
