Shreveport, LA---The LSUS Pilots and Lady Pilots will play host to the University of Mobile Rams Saturday night at the Dock. Both the Rams and the Lady Rams enter tonight’s contest undefeated in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference at 4-0. The Lady Rams are riding a 5 game win streak and are currently ranked 17th in the country with an overall record of 13-3. The Lady Pilots won their first conference game of the year over the Belhaven Lady Blazers but have dropped three straight road decisions to fall to 1-3 in conference play and 7-10 on the year.
The Pilots are currently the top team in the GCAC at 5-0, with an overall record of 14-5. Tonight’s match-up versus the Rams will see the two top ranked teams in the GCAC go head-to-head with LSUS currently being ranked at 11th in the country, while Mobile comes in at 16th. The Pilots hope that their hot shooting of late combined with the home court advantage will be enough to snap the Rams 9 game win streak and stay on top of the GCAC.
The Lady Pilots are scheduled to tip-off at 5:00pm, and will be followed by the Pilots tip-off at 7:00pm.
