LSUS Pilots schedule changes brings Lindenwood University to Pilot Field Saturday

Shreveport, LA---LSUS Baseball has made changes to this week’s upcoming schedule. Saturday’s double-header against the Paul Quinn College Tigers has been cancelled and the Pilots will now play host to the Lindenwood University Lions of St. Charles, Missouri.
The Lions have posted an early season record of 4-4 against a very tough NAIA schedule. The Lions swept the University of Mobile Rams in their first two contests of the season before the Rams evened the series a 2-2 with a double-header sweep of their own one day later. The Lions then proceeded to defeat the Spring Hill College Badgers 6-3, and then beat the No. 1 Oklahoma City Stars 4-0 in game one of their three game set.
The Pilots however are on a streak of their own after winning three straight games over the No. 8 Spalding University Pelicans to improve to 5-3 on the year. Saturday’s match-up at Pilot Field will be a good test for both squads as they look to climb the ladder of the 2006 NAIA ranks. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00pm.
