LSUS' Musgraves to speak at ABCA Convention

SHREVEPORT, La. - The Head Coach for the LSU Shreveport Pilots baseball team Rocke Musgraves will speak at the American Baseball Coaches' Association (ABCA) National Baseball Coaches Convention on January 6, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago, Illinois. He will be one of many speakers at the convention and it will be his chance to let everyone know about LSU Shreveport.

Musgraves is included with some of best baseball minds that was asked to speak at the upcoming convention of a list that includes: Members of the Toronto Blue Jays and Tampa Bay Rays, Andy Lopez, who has won a NCAA DI National Title and current Head Coach at the University of Arizona, coaches from Baylor University, University of Kentucky, Mississippi State.

This is the most prestigious professional and amateur baseball convention of the year and Musgraves is excited that he was asked to speak, "I am truly honored to be associated with such a group of speakers."

Musgraves will be speaking in front of a crowd as large as 6,000 but this coach is not the least bit nervous, " I've worked so many years to achieve this that I have the attitude that I'm not going to waste one second; I want to attack this thing and enjoy it; I want to represent LSUS well," he said.
