LSUS BASEBALL RANKED # 18 IN NAIA PRESEASON POLL

Kansas City, MO- The NAIA release today the preseason top 25 poll for the 2010 season which included the LSUS Pilots ranked at the number 18 spot.
Just two teams from the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference were included in the poll. LSUS ranked 18th and William Carey University tied for 14th.
The Pilots have the opportunity to soar high in the poll as the season unfolds with the tough conference schedule. Belhaven College also received votes in this year’s poll to enter the season ranked 34th.
LSUS will face # 14 William Carey University for two three-game series. The first series will be on February 5th and 6th in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and the second series will be on April 2nd and 3rd at Pilot Field.
The Pilots will face Belhaven College on February 12th and 13th at Pilot Field and at Smith Wills Stadium in Jackson, Mississippi, on March 26th and 27th.
LSUS will begin the 2010 season on the road against GCAC opponent, Spring Hill College at Stan Galle Field, in Mobile, Alabama, on January 29th and 30th.
The first game at Pilot Field will be on February 12th at 6:30 p.m versus the Belhaven Blazers.
