LSUS Baseball Opening Series moved to begin Saturday

SHREVEPORT, La. - The LSU Shreveport baseball season will have to wait one more day to begin the season than originally planned. The series will now begin on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 4, at Pilot Field against the William Carey Crusaders with the first pitch of the season at 4 p.m. to begin a double header and the series will conclude on Sunday with a single game at 1 p.m. due to the threat of rainy weather on Friday.Saturday's double header will consist of a seven inning game first to be followed by a nine inning game while Sunday's game will consist of nine innings.
