LSUS Athletics Sends Best Wishes to GCAC Family

Shreveport, LA---Louisiana State University in Shreveport would like to send their best wishes to the members of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference and their families who have been affected by this disastrous event. The Red Cross has currently opened an evacuation shelter in the gymnasium on the campus of LSUS for those families who were forced to evacuate their homes and local areas.
We would like our fellow conference members to know that the LSUS Athletics Department encourages everyone to contact us if we can help in any way as we will try our best to help make it through this difficult time.
“Witnessing the traffic and the response on campus here at LSUS, we cannot help but think about all of our fellow conference members and what they must be going through. We send our best wishes to all of you and your families and friends, and will do anything within our power to help you through such trying times,” comments a very concerned Doug Robinson, LSUS Athletic Director.
