Lady Pilots Win Second Straight Road Contest

Hattiesburg, Miss. - The LSUS Lady Pilots finished their two-game road swing with their second victory of the trip, defeating the William Carey Lady Saders 65-55.
With the win, the Lady Pilots (13-14, 9-9) tie the school record with 13 wins on the season and finish in fifth place in the GCAC standings.
Edie Leonards led the Lady Pilots with 16 points and 9 rebounds, while Kacie Cryer and Janai Sells finished with 13 and 11 points respectively. Cryer also pulled down nine rebounds in the victory.
Freshman Whitney Hollins came off the bench to score 15 points for the Lady Pilots on 5-of-7 shooting from the three-point line.
LSUS will travel back to William Carey on Thursday night to play the Lady Saders in the second round of the GCAC Tournament's match-up of the fourth and fifth seeds.
