LSUS (23-7, 21-3 RRAC) will enter the tournament as the number two seed as they finished in second in the regular season standings just one game behind regular season champ Langston. Texas College (11-18, 11-13 RRAC) finished in 7th in the regular season standings.

The Lady Pilots won both regular season meetings against Texas College taking the first game in Tyler, Tex., 77-62 and a 30-point lop-sided victory 82-52 on Monday at The Dock. LSUS will be in search of their first conference tournament title.

LSUS has won five of their last six games while Texas College has won three of their last four.

To advance to the NAIA National Tournament the Lady Pilots must win their first two games in the RRAC Tournament and make it to the championship game. If they face #1 Langston in the championship game then the Lady Pilots would clinch a spot in the National Tournament. However, if the Lady Pilots reach the championship game against another school other than Langston, then they would have to win the tournament to advance.
