Lady Pilots Stay Hot With 68-51 Win Over Spring Hill

Shreveport, La. - The LSUS Lady Pilots extended their winning streak to four games with a 68-51 victory over Spring Hill College on the road Thursday night.
LSUS (8-6,4-1) is off to their best start ever in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference play. After dropping thier conference opener to Loyola two weeks ago, the Lady Pilots have run off four straight wins to take sole possession of second place in the conference.
The Lady Pilots were led by Janai Sells' 13 points and 10 rebounds. Kacie Cryer and Quan Joseph also finished in double figures with 12 and 10 points respectively.
LSUS led by just four points at the break, but used a 19-8 run to begin the second half and take control of the contest. The Lady Pilots shot 51% from the field in the second half.
The Lady Pilots' defense forced 22 Lady Badger turnovers, while holding them to just 34% shooting in the contest.
12 Lady Pilots logged minuted in tonight's contest with 10 players scoring at least one field goal in the game.
LSUS will remain on the road and face the University of Mobile Lady Rams on Saturday afternoon. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
