Lady Pilots snubbed again in Top 25 polls

January 29, 2013

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The LSU Shreveport Lady Pilots were left out of the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll again even though they have a better record than 10 teams in the top 25. Today they came in at no. 27 dropping one spot from last week after an undefeated week last week in two games.

LSUS still has high hopes of a being crowned the RRAC Champion as they are only a game and a half behind the current leader no. 21 Our Lady of the Lake and are only one game behind second-place no. 17 Wiley who they will face this Saturday in Marshall, Texas.

The Lady Pilots unfortunately fell to both of the schools in front of the in the current standings and will need to pick up some huge wins on the road if they want the regular season crown. LSUS will travel to Wiley this Saturday and to Our Lady of the Lake on Feb. 11.
