Lady Pilots set for LeTourneau

SHREVEPORT, La. - The LSU Shreveport Lady Pilots and the LeTourneau YellowJackets will square off at The Swamp on Tuesday afternoon at 5 p.m.

The Lady Pilots (1-1) come off a big 7-1 win on Monday against Louisiana College at home. Brooke Martin leads the Lady Pilots scoring attack as she found the back of the net four times to tie her own record for most goals in a game. She also set two new records in the game with nine shots and six on goal.

The Lady Pilots also got goals from three others as Brittney Begando, Irene Henriksson, and Sandra Quintero also added to the scoring frenzy in which all three scored their first goals in a Lady Pilot uniform.

Christina Hamilton leads the Lady Pilots in assists with two in which both came in the Louisiana College win as she assisted Martin. Henriksson, Martin and Sarah Guillory each have one assist on the year.

The YellowJackets (1-1) have been on both ends of a 1-0 game this season. They have been outshot by their opponents 32-7 as they average just 3.5 shots per game. Jaime Malinaric has the team's only goal this season while Katie Plunk has the only assist.

These two schools last met back on 9/8/07 with the Lady Pilots prevailing with a 3-0 win at The Swamp.
