Lady Pilots Rebound With 80-61 Win

Shreveport, La. - The No. 22 LSUS Lady Pilots bounced back with an 80-61 win over the Dillard Lady Blue Devils to regain first place in the Gulf Coast Ahtletic Conference standings.
LSUS jumped out to 19-0 lead to begin the game before Dillard finally scored at the 13 minute mark. The Lady Pilots shot 71% in the first half, including 6-for-10 from the three-point line and led 46-21 at the half.
Tish Flowers scored 14 points to lead four Lady Pilots in double figures. Janai Sells and Valerie Huizar each scored 13 points, while Callie Davis added 12 points from off the bench.
With the win, LSUS moves to 17-2 on the season and 7-1 in conference play. With a Loyola loss to Xavier on Thursday night, the Lady Pilots are back in sole possession of first place in the GCAC standings.
LSUS will be back in action on Saturday when Mobile comes to The Dock to face the Lady Pilots.
