Lady Pilots rally to defeat Lady Wildcats, 71-58

Marshall, TX---After being down seven points with 12:30 remaining, the LSUS Lady Pilots came from behind to take a 71-58 road decision over the Wiley College Lady Wildcats to improve to 5-2 on the season.
“We dropped into a 2-3 zone with 10:00 minutes left and made them shoot the ball from the outside. The difference was that we denied their penetration and rebounded the ball exceptionally well,” commented Head Ronnie Howell.
The Lady Pilots held the Lady Wildcats to just four points in the final 10:00 and ended the game on a 24-4 run.
Jessica Kelley led all scorers with a season high 24 points, while Britteney Walker added 13 points; Moche Roque finished with 12 points; and Janai Sells rounded off the Lady Pilot scoring with 10 points.
The Lady Pilots will return to action Wednesday night when they will travel to Dallas, TX to take on Paul Quinn College.
