Lady Pilots lose in double-overtime to Lady Badgers, 76-69

Mobile, AL---Dyamond Hogg shot a 6 foot jump shot that bounced off the glass, to the front of the rim, and trickled out as time expired in the first overtime session, which sent the LSUS Lady Pilots and the Spring Hill College Lady Badgers into a second overtime period. The Lady Badgers made the best of their second chance and went on to win by a final score of 76-69.

Kendera Monette collected a game high 21 points and 8 rebounds for the Lady Pilots while teammate Saige Cooper chipped in with 16 points off the bench which included a 4-8 shooting performance from beyond the three point line. The Lady Pilots are now 9-18 on the year and 3-11 in the GCAC.

The Lady Pilots will be in action again Thursday night when they will play host to Tougaloo College. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30pm.
