Lady Pilots Four-Game Win Streak Snapped

MOBILE, Ala. - The University of Mobile women's basketball team shot 60% from the field and handed the Lady Pilots their first loss in five games, 79-62.
In the first half, Mobile shot a blistering 60% and held LSUS to just 39% from the field, while also forcing several Lady Pilot turnovers en route to a 14-point halftime lead.
The Lady Rams didn't cool off in the second half, as they once again nailed 60% of their shots and held off the Lady Pilots.
Mobile freshman Anna Maddox led all scorers with a career-high 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting. Guard Danielle Goodly finished with 15 points, 5 assists, 7 rebounds and 7 steals for the Lady Rams.
Freshman Whitney Hollins scored 15 points for the Lady Pilots, nailing 5-of-7 shots from behind the arc. Edie Leonards added 12 points in the loss.
The Lady Pilots will host Xavier University-New Orleans on Wednesday night at The Dock. The game is scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM.
