Lady Pilots fall to Spring Hill 75-46

The LSUS Lady Pilots (8-18, 4-12) hosted the Spring Hill Lady Badgers Saturday night in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference action. Spring Hill started the first half dominating offensively as they connected on 15-25 from the field including 9 of 13 from beyond the three point line. Spring Hill took a 43-18 lead by the half. LSUS could never recover from the early deficit and fell 75-46 to the Lady Badgers.

Maria Rodriguez finished with a game high 18 points and added 7 assists, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 blocks in the Spring Hill victory. Lady Pilot Kendera Monette finished with 11 points and a season high 17 rebounds to collect the games only double-double. Dyamond Hogg pitched in with 11 points.

The Lady Pilots will be in action again next Thursday when they will host Loyola University in their last home game of the year. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30pm.
