Lady Pilots drop first RRAC game

SHREVEPORT, La. - The LSU Shreveport Lady Pilots soccer team dropped their first Red River Athletic Conference game on Saturday after noon 1-0 to the Lady Rams of Texas Wesleyan.

Both teams played an evenly contested first and second half but the difference came during the 75^th minute when Texas Wesleyan's Karissa Olson scored the game's only goal.

Texas Wesleyan (12-3, 4-2 RRAC) outshot the Lady Pilots 17-11 while three of the Lady Pilots shots hit the crossbar. The Lady Rams had nine shots on goal while the Lady Pilots put five on frame. LSUS is now 0-4-1 this season when taking fewer than 13 shots in a game.

LSUS (4-7, 3-3 RRAC) will now begin a four-game road trip as the next game for the Lady Pilots will be on Thursday, Oct. 13^th, in Tyler, Texas, at Texas College. The next home game will be on Saturday, Oct. 29^th, against Northwood at 1 p.m.
