Facilities

The LSUS Athletics Department has worked diligently to continue to improve the facilities for incoming student-athletes, staff, and community members. Located in the Health and Physical Education Building are a full sized swimming pool with diving boards; six racquetball/squash courts, an elevated running track; a weight room that is fully equipped with the most up-to-date Nautilus equipment available. LSUS is also home to the USA Weight Lifting Development Center.

FacilitiesIt rocks, it rolls, it gets rowdy – “The Dock,” home of the Pilot and Lady Pilot Basketball teams, continually tests its 1,000 seat capacity.  While enjoying the action fans can visit the fully equipped concession area.

LSUS has recently welcomed the addition to women’s soccer to their athletics program and have created an excellent soccer complex that has been temporarily been named “The Swamp”, which is located on the east side of Pilot Field.

The confines of Pilot Field has evolved into one of the most fan-friendly baseball facilities in the area with the addition of a state-of-the-art concession stand, bathrooms, bleachers, and a press box.  The professionally groomed playing surface allows players to confidently hone their skills.  This season the Pilots will add a cover over their 4,200 sq. foot cage area.
