Cash helped lead the Pilots to two huge conference victories over Tougaloo College and the University of Mobile last week, as the Pilots moved into sole possession of first place in the GCAC standings with their win over Mobile.
Cash recorded double-doubles in both of the victories, while shooting over 60% from the field. Cash also played a huge part on the defensive end, limiting Mobile's Robert Jones (21.3 PPG) to just seven points in Saturday's win over Mobile.
The award was Cash's second on the season. Cash and teammate Josh Porter are the only two players in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference to be honored twice this season.
