Blazers capitalize on 6 Pilot errors to win 8-6

LSUS jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on a first inning homerun off the bat of Chris Frye, his 5th of the season. Belhaven answered with an unearned run of their own in the 3rd. The Blazers added 2 more unearned runs in the 4th and 4 runs in the 5th, none of which were earned. Despite only collecting 5 hits, Belhaven went on to win by a final score of 8-6.The Pilots will be in action again tomorrow afternoon when they will face William Carey College in an elimination game. The winner will go on to face Belhaven College tomorrow night at 7:00pm to fight for a spot in the tournament final at 4:00pm Saturday.
