    Pilots clinch National Tournament Berth

    SHREVEPORT, La. - The LSU Shreveport Pilots clinched a spot in the NAIA National Tournament with Texas Wesleyan's win over Northwood 9-5 on Monday night at Pilot Field. The win by Texas Wesleyan eliminates Northwood from the tournament leaving the Pilots and Texas Wesleyan to decide the championship and both will go to the Opening Rounds receiving the automatic qualifying berth for being the final two teams left in the RRAC Tournament.

    Olson cruises Pilots past Texas College

    SHREVEPORT, La. - Caleb Olson tossed his first complete game of year the LSU Shreveport Pilots held off elimination in the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament with a 10-1 win over the Texas College Steers on Monday afternoon at Pilot Field.

    Bowen, Pilots keep season alive with win

    SHREVEPORT, La. - With their season on the line the LSU Shreveport Pilots responded with an 8-2 thumping of the NAIA's no. 3 team in the nation, the Northwood Knights, on Sunday afternoon at Pilot Field. The win evens the season series with two wins for each school. The Pilots advance to play Texas College tomorrow afternoon at 3 p.m. as both teams face elimination.

    Pilots could not take advantage of Texas Wesleyan miscues

    SHREVEPORT, La. - The no. 25 Texas Wesleyan Rams committed 10 errors but still managed to escape Pilot Field with an 8-7 win in 10 inning early Sunday morning over the LSU Shreveport Pilots in the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament in a game that had been delayed nearly three hours from its original start time due to heavy showers.

    Five Pilots receive RRAC season awards

    SHREVEPORT, La. - The Red River Athletic Conference release the award winners for the 2013 RRAC Baseball season on Friday night at the banquet to kick off the RRAC Tournament at the University Center Ballroom on the campus of LSU Shreveport. Four different LSU Shreveport Pilots were included on the award winning teams with Kyle Pearson, Ridge Gonsoulin, Rory Young and K. J. Semien were First Team selections while Reed Lavallee was named to the Second Team. Gonsoulin was one of three conference outfielders named to the Gold Glove Team while Pearson was the school's selection for the Champions of Character Award winner.
