Pilots dominate All-Conference Awards
SHREVEPORT, La. - The RRAC baseball coaches voted every position player and two starting pitchers from the no. 1 LSU Shreveport Pilots to the Red River Athletic Conference All-Conference Teams on Friday night at the annual coaches meeting prior to the start of the RRAC Tournament. Kyle Pearson was the choice for Player of the Year while his teammate Jared Mortensen was named as the Pitcher of the Year for the RRAC.

No. 1 Pilots sweep Centenary
SHREVEPORT, La. - The no. 1 LSU Shreveport Pilots added two more wins to their resume' on the 2012 campaign with a double header sweep of the Centenary Gents at Shehee Stadium on Tuesday by a final score of 15-11 in the first game and then coming from behind to take the night cap 10-7 in extras. The Pilots finished the 2012 regular season with 44 wins and only 4 losses while Centenary at 23-14 still has a few games left on their schedule. The Pilots open RRAC Tournament play on Saturday night at Pilot Field at 6:30 p.m. having won nine games in a row.

Tournament Field set for RRAC Baseball Tournament
SHREVEPORT, La. - The tournament field for this year's Red River Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament is finally set after the final regular season games were complete earlier today which decided the final team that qualified for the bracket. Six teams will meet in Shreveport at LSUS' Pilot Field for the 2012 RRAC Tournament in a double-elimination bracket format.

Pearson earns RRAC Player of the Week
WACO, Texas - Kyle Pearson of LSU Shreveport and Anthony Seabolt of Bacone College were named RRAC Baseball Co-Players of the Week for April 16-22, while Teddy Nowell of Northwood University earned RRAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week honors for the same dates.

Pilots pound Rams in series finale
SHREVEPORT, La. - The no. 1 LSU Shreveport Pilots pounded 12 hits in the series finale in route to a 14-2 win on Sunday afternoon at Pilot Field against the Texas Wesleyan Rams for their seventh win in a row.
