Graduate Assistant
Brandon Magierowski
Brandon Magierowski enters his first year as the Graduate Assistant at LSU Shreveport. He was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, and is the son of Tony and Heather Magierowski.
Magierowski attended the Prairie Baseball Academy from 2002-2004 before being recruited to the LSUS Baseball Program as an infielder in 2004.
As Captain of the infield for the Pilots, Magierowski played three seasons under Rocke Musgraves and now returns to be a part of the coaching staff. Mags played in a total of 118 games in which he turned in a career batting average of .331 with six home runs and 62 runs batted in. He had 20 doubles and stole 39 bases during his stint with the Pilots.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in General Business Administration from LSUS in 2007, Brandon returned home to pursue his coaching aspirations.
Magierowski was an assistant coach from 2008 to 2011 at the Prairie Baseball Academy (PBA) in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, before returning to LSUS to once again be a part of the Pilots Baseball Program.
Magierowski is married to the former Tiffany O'Rear of Shreveport. The two exchanged vows on July 1, 2011at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.
