    Pilots take RRAC Tournament Title

    SHREVEPORT, La. - The no. 8 LSU Shreveport Pilots baseball team won the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament by defeating the University of Texas-Brownsville Scorpions for the second time in as many day with a 10-1 win on Tuesday afternoon at Pilot Field as the Pilots won both championships this year in the RRAC, the regular season title and the tournament title. This gives LSUS its fifth tournament title in the last six years with the four previous championships coming in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference.

    Pilots sting Scorpions

    SHREVEPORT, La. - The no. 9 LSU Shreveport Pilots baseball handed the University of Texas-Brownsville Scorpions their first loss of the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament with an 11-4 win on Monday afternoon at Pilot Field to advance to the championship game on Tuesday afternoon at 3:00.

    Mortensen strikes Rams

    SHREVEPORT, La. - The no. 9 LSU Shreveport Pilots baseball team eliminated the Texas Wesleyan Rams from the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament with an 11-0 win at Pilot Field on Sunday afternoon. LSUS starter Jared Mortensen dominated the Rams with 13 strike outs.

    Smith named RRAC Player of the Year

    SHREVEPORT, La. - LSU Shreveport's first baseman Kevin Smith took home the Red River Athletic Conference's most prestigious honor as he was named Player of the Year on Friday night at the conference tournament banquet in the University Center on the campus of LSUS to kick off this year's tournament. The Pilots landed four on the All-Conference First Team, three on the Second Team, and two on the Gold Glove Team.

    Pilots enter RRAC Tourney as no. 1 seed

    SHREVEPORT, La. - The no. 9 LSU Shreveport Pilots baseball team will begin play in the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament as the no. 1 seed on Saturday night at Pilot Field at 6:30 p.m. against the no. 6 seed Texas College Steers.
