Pilots season comes to a close with loss to Grand View
CLEVELAND, Tenn. - The no. 24 LSU Shreveport Pilots 2013 season came to a close on Friday afternoon with their second loss in the NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round in the Cleveland bracket as the Grand View Vikings eliminated the Pilots 6-3 at Olympic Field.

Today's game time moved to 10 AM CT
CLEVELAND, Tenn. - With showers on the way to the Cleveland area, the Opening Round Tournament Director David Alltop has moved the start time for the LSU Shreveport vs. Grand View elimination game to 11 ET/10 CT an hour before the original start in attempt to get the game in before the rain arrives.

Pilots drop first game at Opening Round
CLEVELAND, Tenn. - The no. 24 LSU Shreveport Pilots got a good outing from Cade Bowen on Thursday afternoon but could not provide any runs support as the fell to the no. 18 Madonna Crusaders 8-0 at Olympic Field on day one of the 2013 NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round in the Cleveland bracket.

Pilots head to Cleveland, TN for Opening Round
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The LSU Shreveport Pilots will be the no. 3 seed for the Cleveland, Tennessee, bracket hosted by Lee University. LSUS will take on the no. 2 seeded Madonna Crusaders at 3:30 EDT at Olympic Field in Cleveland. The Pilots have been to Lee's Olympic Field in the old format in the Region XIII Tournament but this will be their first and last appearance in Cleveland for the Opening Rounds since Lee will be transitioning to NCAA Division II.

Pilots claim their 4th straight tournament title
SHREVEPORT, La. - The LSU Shreveport Pilots (40-16) have gotten pretty good at claiming the conference tournament championships as they added to that chapter on Championship Tuesday at Pilot Field claiming their fourth consecutive conference tournament title. The win was their third straight in the Red River Athletic Conference as they defeated the no. 17 Texas Wesleyan Rams (40-16) twice on Tuesday to claim the title. The Pilots crushed the Rams in game one by a final of 19-6 to force the decisive game number 11 of the tournament and then won the nail-biter 5-4 in the night cap.

Pilots clinch National Tournament Berth
SHREVEPORT, La. - The LSU Shreveport Pilots clinched a spot in the NAIA National Tournament with Texas Wesleyan's win over Northwood 9-5 on Monday night at Pilot Field. The win by Texas Wesleyan eliminates Northwood from the tournament leaving the Pilots and Texas Wesleyan to decide the championship and both will go to the Opening Rounds receiving the automatic qualifying berth for being the final two teams left in the RRAC Tournament.

Olson cruises Pilots past Texas College
SHREVEPORT, La. - Caleb Olson tossed his first complete game of year the LSU Shreveport Pilots held off elimination in the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament with a 10-1 win over the Texas College Steers on Monday afternoon at Pilot Field.

Bowen, Pilots keep season alive with win
SHREVEPORT, La. - With their season on the line the LSU Shreveport Pilots responded with an 8-2 thumping of the NAIA's no. 3 team in the nation, the Northwood Knights, on Sunday afternoon at Pilot Field. The win evens the season series with two wins for each school. The Pilots advance to play Texas College tomorrow afternoon at 3 p.m. as both teams face elimination.

Pilots could not take advantage of Texas Wesleyan miscues
SHREVEPORT, La. - The no. 25 Texas Wesleyan Rams committed 10 errors but still managed to escape Pilot Field with an 8-7 win in 10 inning early Sunday morning over the LSU Shreveport Pilots in the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament in a game that had been delayed nearly three hours from its original start time due to heavy showers.

Five Pilots receive RRAC season awards
SHREVEPORT, La. - The Red River Athletic Conference release the award winners for the 2013 RRAC Baseball season on Friday night at the banquet to kick off the RRAC Tournament at the University Center Ballroom on the campus of LSU Shreveport. Four different LSU Shreveport Pilots were included on the award winning teams with Kyle Pearson, Ridge Gonsoulin, Rory Young and K. J. Semien were First Team selections while Reed Lavallee was named to the Second Team. Gonsoulin was one of three conference outfielders named to the Gold Glove Team while Pearson was the school's selection for the Champions of Character Award winner.
