Badgers Win With Free-Throws Down the Stretch

[Jan 26, 2004] - The Spring Hill men's basketball team won a free-throw battle down the stretch, hitting five free-throws in the last minute of the game. The Badgers put away LSU-Shreveport 74-69.Leading the Badgers was Chris Baldwin with 13 points and eight rebounds. Four other Badgers scored in double-figures, including Nate Williams (12 pts.), Pierre DuVentre (12 pts.), Chris Miernicki (12 pts.), and Derrick Kibler (11 pts.).
The Badgers shot 58.1% from the field and 76.9% from the free-throw line, while the Pilots shot 43.6% from the field. The Badgers out-rebounded LSU-Shreveport 29-27.
The next game for the Badgers (12-9, 3-4) will be on Thursday night, at SUNO.
