LSUS Basketball to host Mobile University Rams Saturday night

The University of Mobile Rams will be in town Saturday to take on the LSUS. The Lady Pilots are looking upset the 3rd place Lady Rams (13-8,7-3), and build on their 4-3 record at home this year. The Lady Pilots are currently 6-14 on the season, 2-8 in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) action. At 3:00pm the LSUS Baseball Team will be setting up a tailgate party outside the HPE Building to support our basketball teams in their very important GCAC match-up Saturday night. The Lady Pilots tip-off is scheduled for 5:00pm.

Following the Lady Pilots action, the men will be looking to improve their 5-5 GCAC record and possibly move into 4th place with a win over Mobile. The Pilots are 12-10 on the year and are looking to improve on their season high three game winning streak.

At halftime of the men’s game, the LSUS Baseball Team will be honored for their accomplishments in the 2003 season, going 52-24 on the year and making their first ever College World Series appearance.
