Returning Students

Welcome back to LSUS! Students who have attended LSUS in the past but have sat out at least one semester are considered a re-entry applicant and must submit another application for admission but do not need to pay the application fee again. Depending on your last date of attendance as LSUS, you may find several changes at LSUS which can be explored by completing Virtual Transfer Student Orientation:

• COMPASS: an interactive online student registration and information system used to update student data (address, email, etc.), search for open classes, register for classes, view grades, print unofficial transcripts and order official transcripts
• Catalog
• Student Handbook
• Student Conduct Code

To be eligible for readmission, the student must have earned an overall 2.0 average both at LSUS and at all other colleges and universities. However, the University may readmit on probation a student who was on probation when last attending LSUS.

A student who has registered at another college or university since enrollment at LSUS must request that the institution submit official transcripts directly to the LSUS Admissions and Records Office, regardless of whether credit was earned. Failure to submit transcripts by the 14th class day of the spring or fall semesters or the 7th class day of a summer term may result in cancellation of registration.
